Dancing Rain Poncho

These have been in the works for months and I’m so excited to finally have them for tour this summer. As you know, when it rains on tour, it POURS! And while we occasionally love to dance in the rain and lift our fist to the sky, listen to the thunder and shout “I AM!” it’s not always fun to be soaked all day. So here is the answer, a gorgeous 3 in 1 Rain Poncho from your favourite cartel.

What are the 3 things? Well obviously 1 is a rain poncho, and this one is made with a waterproof fabric that doesn’t rustle when you move like the plastic ones do. They were originally made for hunters in camo, so the animals don’t hear them crinkling when they move. They kept offering to sell me camo ones, but I kept having to tell them that rainbows are our camouflage. When it’s a rain poncho, it has the little snaps on the side, it has a nice proper hood that goes all the way around your neck, that you can tighten like a real hood in the wind. The 2nd thing they become is a picnic blanket, which is sweet because the one I normally use to sit on at the shows always comes back wet and usually reeking of beer, but this one, the liquids roll right off like weather off a duck’s ass. The 3rd part of the 3 in 1 is that they turn into an emergency rain shelter if you ever need. And if this year is anything like the last few tours, there will be at least once when all our friends will be huddled underneath on of these beauties, squished together for warmth (I’m looking at you, Chicago!)
